The Puzzle of Artists in Global Missions

with Bob Phillips and Special Guests

Recorded on Thursday, May 6, 2021

1 hour

M any artists struggle with finding their role in the church and on the mission field.

Artists are often misunderstood, but as God is our Creator, we need the involvement of artists in global missions even more than we realize.

In this FREE live webinar, Bob Phillips, Serge Missionary and Artist, and special guests will give guidance on:

      • How being an artist intersects with and reflects faith in Christ
      • How God uses the arts to transform intellectual assent into heart understanding
      • The integral role that artists play in a larger missional community

If you’re a Christian creative who struggles to see your place in global missions, then this webinar is for you!

About the Speaker

Bob Phillips

For the past 25 years, Bob Phillips and his wife Miriam have served in the Netherlands with Serge, contributing to evangelism, church planting, leadership development, and the arts. In September of 2017, Serge leaders invited him to focus on training and mentoring within the Serge community, resourcing teams in evangelism and the arts. Out of an invitation to Serge workers with a creative calling, a conversation has grown, and a group of artists, musicians, photographers, poets, and writers have formed ‘Courageous Taste-mongers,’ a platform for sharing our joys, struggles, and latest projects.
