Multimedia & Communications Specialist – South Asia

A Serge team in South Asia is seeking a Multimedia and Communications Specialist to play a vital role in expanding our social media presence and enhancing communications for our team to engage supporters.

We are seeking an individual with a keen interest in Business for Transformation (B4T) work, who can effectively communicate to supporters the impactful work our team is involved in across various areas through photography and videography.

Additionally, this role will focus on supporting the growth of our café/shop, through a strong social media presence.

Responsibilites:

• Immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of our team, including work at the hospital, village medical camps, and café/shop, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the work being done
• Utilize your photography and videography skills to capture compelling visuals of our team’s activities, enabling effective communication with supporters worldwide about our impactful work
• Develop and implement a strategic social media plan to showcase our team’s efforts and engage supporters across the globe
• Collaborate with team members to gather stories and content that highlight the transformative impact of our B4T initiatives
• Support the growth and visibility of Zindagi café/shop through strategic social media marketing

Requirements and Critical Qualities:

• Experience in photography and videography, with a portfolio highlighting your skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate cross-cultural settings and work collaboratively with team members
• Passion for Business for Transformation (B4T) work and a strong desire to contribute to its growth and impact
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Proficiency in social media platforms
