Position Title: Counselor
Location: London, UK
FT/PT: Full-time
Length of Service: Short-Term (1-2 years service) or Long-Term (4 years service)
Responsibilities:
- Join a church planting team in multicultural settings wanting to make Jesus known and see the kingdom come in all areas of life, including healing in our souls and minds.
- Have an emphasized role as a counselor in communities and people groups where counseling is not easily accessible as a resource for a church plants, ministries and partnering churches.
- This may be done in groups, individuals, couples, or families.
- Both US state licensure as an LPC and UK accreditation as a counselor can be obtained.
Requirements and Critical Qualities:
- Masters in Counseling (or equivalent degree) or higher
- Follower of Jesus
- Heart to know, honor, and understand cultures different from yours
- Desire to make counseling accessible in areas where, for various reasons, it is currently difficult to access
