Accountant for Business for Transformation – South Asia

A Serge team in South Asia is seeking an accountant to join their adventure tourism Business for Transformation (B4T) and contribute to critical financial decision-making processes. Your role will involve collecting, tracking, and ensuring the accuracy of the company’s finances.

You will be responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining precise financial records throughout the year. Additionally, you will need to familiarize yourself with tax laws in South Asia to assist our B4T in maintaining good tax compliance.

You’ll also come alongside local believers through friendship, discipleship, and mentoring as you do all things for the Glory of God.

Responsibilites:

• Collect, track, and correct the company’s financial data to support informed decision-making
• Conduct financial audits and reconcile bank statements regularly
• Maintain accurate financial records throughout the year
• Stay updated with tax laws in South Asia and assist in maintaining good tax standing
• Foster relationships with local believers through friendship, discipleship, and mentoring

Requirements and Critical Qualities:

• Ideally possesses a degree in accounting or finance
• Demonstrates a high degree of business integrity
• Displays a passion for continuous learning
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
• Exhibits professional skepticism in financial matters
