Mentor/Coach for National Pastors and Church Planters – Barcelona, Spain

Serge’s team in Barcelona, Spain is looking for new teammates to staff its missionary apprenticeship program and train, disciple, mentor, and manage ministry placements for missionary apprentices.
In addition, there would be involvement with additional ministry in Barcelona depending on gifting, experience, and needs of the team.
The Barcelona team serves the church through mentoring/coaching, evangelism, training, teaching, and organizing activities/programs.
Responsibilites:
- Facilitates Spanish leaders planting churches, preaching, teaching, vision-casting, shepherding, counseling, training, and planning.
- Engage in gospel mentoring with national church leaders as a building block for further mentoring and coaching opportunities.
- Pursues opportunities to build relationships with church and ministry leaders.
- Pursues opportunities to build relationships and share the Gospel.
- Participates in the faithful membership of a local church and like-minded ministries and projects.
- Engage faithfully in team life: leadership, fellowship, pastoral care, and planning together for the life and ministry of the team.
Requirements and Critical Qualities:
- Commitment to Jesus Christ and the global expansion of His Kingdom.
- Call to missional living and desire to engage with assigned Team in fulfilling its vision.
- Devotion to prayer, personal repentance, and renewal as the motive and power for mission.
- Able to humbly serve behind the scenes, not in the limelight, not the primary leader. Doing faithful, supportive ministry without public recognition.
- An ability to work effectively with a team and practice healthy conflict resolution.
- Some level of Bible or seminary training.
- Experience on a church staff/leadership or in a church plant would be very helpful.
- A student of culture and a learner of the local language is required.
