ESL Teacher/Community Outreach Worker – Southall, London, UK

With over 300 known languages spoken in London, many of those languages can be heard spoken in the ethnically diverse neighborhood of Southall. The Serge team in Southall is seeking someone who is experienced in teaching English as a second language and who can set up and run English classes as a ministry of New Life Masih Ghar Church.

If you have a teaching certificate (CELTA, TESOL, etc) that would be strongly desired – but it’s not a requirement. 

Responsibilites:

• Support New Life Masih Ghar Church church and team ministries in various capacities.
• Participate in regular team life: team meetings, outreach, church meetings, etc.

Requirements and Critical Qualities:

• 1-2 years of experience teaching English
• Culturally sensitive and a good listener
• A deep love for Christ and His church
• Team player with a teachable spirit
• As a partner in ministry with New Life Masih Ghar Church, full and active participation in church is a necessity
