Contruction Engineer – Kibuye, Burundi

The team in Kibuye, Burundi, has a need for a construction engineer to serve on a missionary team that is providing healthcare and training to some of the most under-served people in the world. This role manages a team of Burundian men and women. The Construction Engineer also plays a part in maintaining and building relationships with national partners.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and organizing the maintenance and construction of the hospital and residential facilities
• Helping to lead the Burundian construction team in the hospital and other projects
• Designing and implementing hospital and residential construction projects

Requirements and Critical Qualities:

• Applicants need to be ready for both project management needs as well as mechanical/maintenance needs 
• A wide range of experience and ability is useful 
• The ability to work cross-culturally and in limited resource settings is crucial
