Professor – Singapore Bible College

The Serge Singapore team seeks a professor to teach and mentor students at Singapore Bible College (SBC). SBC is an evangelical and inter-denominational seminary founded in 1952 with support from churches and mission organizations. Today, it trains over 450 students from 25 countries. SBC offers theological education in Chinese and English, with programs in Church Music and Counseling through the School of Theology (Chinese), the School of Theology (English), the School of Church Music, and the School of Counseling. The programs range from diploma to bachelor’s and master’s degrees for ministry, missions, and marketplace witness, along with advanced studies like the Master of Theology (ThM) and Doctor in Ministry (DMin). For lay Christians, SBC offers evening certificate programs.
Responsibilities:
Engage in research, teaching, and formative activities of the college. Mentor and support students, fostering their academic and spiritual growth, and guiding them in their callings.
Requirements and Critical Qualities:
Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Professional experience in counseling, teaching, pastoral ministry, or a similar area.
Commitment: Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Values: Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, with a deep appreciation for diversity.

The person in this role raises their full financial support for salary, ministry expenses, and benefits.
When you are appointed to go with Serge, you are assigned a support coach who will guide you step-by-step through the entire support-raising process.
