Short-Term Teams

Crossing Cultures to Serve and to Grow

Serge’s long-term mission teams serve in a wide variety of locations around the world. Throughout the year, missionaries request assistance from individuals and teams who serve with them in their local communities from one to two weeks. These opportunities serve as cultural exchanges, widen global perspectives, and give real help to the people in communities where Serge works.

 Types of team service include:

  • construction,
  • English language camps,
  • sports camps,
  • evangelistic camps and other activities,
  • prayer weeks.

Summer 2018 Short-Term Team opportunities will be announced in September of 2017. Contact Brad Wallace, Serge Short-Term Team Coordinator, if you would like to be notified when these opportunities are posted:

Current Opportunities

School Construction :: Bundibugyo, Uganda

Dates: Throughout the year in 2017
To address the critical need for secondary education in this under-resourced area of Uganda, in 1999 Serge opened Christ School. The growing student population is taxing current facilities. Teams are needed for school facility construction—both for new buildings and repair of older facilities.
Max team size: 6 -12 (all levels, ages, and skills are welcome)
Approx. trip cost: $1,650 + airfare (dependent upon project)
Trip length: 2 weeks Number of teams needed: 4

School Construction :: Granada, Nicaragua

Dates: Throughout the year in 2017
In 2014, Serge missionaries broke ground on a school that provides education for children in a poor community on the outskirts of Granada. This one-of-a-kind facility is gradually adding classrooms and needs to continue construction so rising classes can continue. In 2017, we hope to provide at least one new classroom for the school.
Max team size: 25 Approx trip cost: $1,450 + airfare
Trip length: 1 or 2 weeks (Saturday to Saturday)
Number of teams needed: No limit

Education includes growing in mind and body.

What Others Are Saying

Going on my first short-term mission trip was life changing. I unexpectedly fell in love with the country and its people and—anxious to be a part of what God is doing there—have participated in many follow-up trips. I couldn’t be more grateful to God for the opportunity to work with Serge.
