1-2 Week Short-Term Trips – Dip your toes into cross-cultural ministry! Join a Short-term trip and offer tangible help to the people in communities where Serge works – forging lasting relationships among team members and with the local community.

Summer internship – Interested in spending your summer overseas, serving a local community, and being mentored in cross-cultural ministry by a missionary mentor? Are you desiring to gain language skills and be a part of God’s global church? Consider a Serge summer internship.
Want to do a semester-long internship? Do you need hours for your medical rotations, or to gain field hours in counseling or education? Maybe the Vocational internship is more what you’re looking for.
Apprenticeship (18 mo. – 2 years) – Are you graduating soon and wanting to be prepared for a career in cross-cultural missions? Apply for the Apprenticeship—a full-time, salaried, support-raising role, where you will also benefit from a foundation of theological and leadership training, geared to give you the tools to step into career missions.
Apprenticeship (18 mo. – 2 years) – Wrapping up your RUF internship and wanting to be prepared for a career in Cross-cultural missions? Apply for the Apprenticeship – a full-time, salaried, support-raising role, where you will also benefit from a foundation of theological and leadership training, geared to give you the tools to step into career missions.
Vocational internship (2 mo. – 11 mo.) – Unsure if you can commit to the Apprenticeship, or know that you’re going back to school after your internship? (medical school, business school, seminary… Gain experience and field hours by doing a Vocational internship with one of our teams overseas (think of this as service-learning / volunteer, not a salaried position). Many grad students have been able to complete their rotations or clinical hours with us (medical, preaching, counseling, teaching…).

RUF Global – RUF Global missionaries partner with mission teams from Mission to the World (MTW) and Serge, and with national denominations, to minister to college students on overseas campuses. Consider starting an RUF chapter overseas through Serge / RUF Global!

Serge has been invited to partner with a new ministry in Chile that will be helping children with disabilities and their families. Started by a Chilean couple who are friends of Serge and who lost both of their children to severe disabilities, they have a heart for these children and know of the struggles that their families face. The team will help with the construction of a camp that will provide a place for the children to be loved and cared for, and their parents to be ministered to.
Trip length: 1 week
Number of participants: Minimum 4, maximum 15

Looking to do something different with your spring break? Take a LEAP across the pond to London—a global hub where cultures and religions from all over the world intersect every day. You’ll serve alongside local church plants and Serge staff to learn about different world faiths and get directly involved in local prayer and outreach. It’s a practical opportunity to put your faith into action and gain real cross-cultural ministry experience!
Trip length: 7 days
Max team size: We can host a total of 30 people per week.

Join this team to explore neighborhoods of cultural significance in this major European hub, while benefiting from roundtable discussions and seminars on the topics of “Shalom” and “Cultural Renewal” in a city of seekers and skeptics. Learn from Serge workers how to communicate the Gospel in a language that addresses the heart of the unreached, guides people into genuine discussion, while exposing our own need for the Good News.
Trip length: 7 days

Trek & Outreach to the Unreached: Learn, pray, and adventure in one of the largest, most diverse unreached countries. Learn about other religions before embarking on a Himalayan trek. Hear the testimonies of long-term workers and local believers, and pray with them for their lost neighbors.
Joining us in a short term capacity supports local believers who are committed to taking the gospel in the native tongue to those who still have yet to hear the name of Jesus.
Trip length: 8-10 days
Max team size: minimum 4, maximum 15
Who: Adults and youth (15-55) with a passion to learn, understand, and experience one of the oldest cultures on the planet. Physical conditioning is important to be able to reach remote mountain villages with a 20 – 30 pound trekking pack. Must be able to run a 30 min. 5k as reference.
Approx. trip cost: $2,000 + airfare. Fee includes registration, lodging, most meals, domestic travel, trek expenses, guides, translators, and ministry expenses.

This short-term mission trip to Spain will support a baseball camp for children and teens, where the team will help teach baseball skills while building meaningful relationships with campers and their families. Through these connections, the goal is to encourage families to become involved with the local church and create opportunities to share the hope of the gospel through authentic friendships.
Trip Length: 10 days
Max participants: People accepted on a case-by-case basis – spots are limited
Who: RUF Students and staff. Baseball skills preferred but not required

Forward LEAP participants support Serge’s annual LEAP Short-Term Trip. Forward LEAPers will arrive a few days before the other trip participants to be trained in implementing – as well as participating in – all of the various aspects of LEAP. You will stay an extra 2 days to help with outreach follow-up and debrief. Come dip your toes into cross-cultural ministry by not only participating in this important outreach, but by getting to know and work alongside our Serge missionaries in this amazing global city.
Trip length: 15 days
Max team size: 6 RUF people
Who: RUF Interns only
Approx. trip cost: $1,600 per person + airfare. Includes: lodging, most meals & ministry-related transportation in the city.

The team will partner with Project for Hope to serve single mothers, their children, and older widows in Magdalena Milpas Altas. Activities include home repairs, visits to widows, encouraging single mothers in their faith, supporting community initiatives such as the agriculture project, Huevos Jireh egg business, and Esperanza Handmade leather workshop, and leading a VBS-style camp to share our faith and provide a fun experience for local children.
Trip length: 1-2 weeks (depending on team availability)
