Jabez was born in Singapore, raised in Canada, lived in the northeast U.S. since college, and is now serving in Thailand as a counselor for missionaries. He is ethnically Chinese and is passionate about counseling as a means of providing a safe space for people to process past wounds and undergo transformative healing by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jabez graduated with honors with his Masters of Arts in Counseling from Misso Seminary in 2022 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. He is a training facilitator with the American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute and has equipped people to facilitate trauma healing groups in New York City and Baltimore. Jabez has received training from the Albert Ellis Institute as well as the International Centre for Excellence in EFT.
