Loving Others as Saints, Sufferers, and Sinners
with Dr. Michael Emlet
M ore than one thing is true about believers in Jesus Christ.
We are at once saints — new people in Christ and dearly loved children of God. But we are still sinners — “worse than we think” and in need of a lot of grace. We are also sufferers, sinned against and burdened by the difficulties of life in a fallen world.
Loving people well means engaging with them as all three of these.
But we need the wisdom to know what facet of a person’s identity to speak to when and how.
In this FREE webinar, Dr. Michael Emlet, Senior Faculty, Counselor at CCEF and author of Saints, Sufferers, and Sinners, will give guidance on:
- How an understanding of each of these three identities contribute to the way we minister to someone
- What would happen if any of these is neglected or left out of personal ministry
- How to avoid being simplistic or unbalanced in the way that we minister to people
If you’re seeking to love and minister to people with Biblical wisdom, then this webinar is for you!
