Youth Worker – Cluj, Romania

Serge’s team in Cluj, Romania has an urgent need for a Youth Ministry Worker to minister to Roma/Gypsy youth on the outskirts of Cluj – Romania’s second-largest city. You will be involved with discipling teenagers and children and leading workshops that teach skills related to art, music, sports, language, etc.

Responsibilites:

• Partners with Rise 2 Shine Ministries, which works with Roma communities on the outskirts of Cluj
• Helps lead weekly bible programs for children and youth ages 5-18
• Disciples Teenagers
• Attends programs and shares responsibilities of leading, teaching a bible lesson, leading crafts or games, distributing snacks, interacting with attendees
• Leads workshops that teach a skill related to art, music, sports, language, etc.

Requirements and Critical Qualities:

• Experience working with children and youth
• Personal experience of the Gospel and a desire to share it with others
• Enthusiasm for language learning
• Flexibility

Additional Useful Qualities/Skills:

• Driver’s license and ability to drive a stick shift
• Teaching ability
• Ability to lead worship
• Interest in teaching English as a second language

The person in this role raises their full financial support for salary, ministry expenses, and benefits.
