Once the capital of the Incan Empire, Cusco is the largest tourist destination in Peru due to its proximity to Machu Picchu. Within the city, there are very few gospel-centered churches, and those that exist are in need of support and training. As a result, a very small percentage of the population has heard and believed the gospel, especially among university students. In addition, Cusco has a large underserved population in need of quality healthcare.
What we do in Cusco
Serge missionaries in Cusco partner with Peruvians to develop churches, reach college students, and provide healthcare, all with the goal to share the good news of Jesus with as many Peruvians as possible.
The team works with La Fuente clinic, an openly Christian clinic that provides quality healthcare while sharing the hope of the gospel with its patients.
The team also works with Young Life on the University of Andina campus and partners with a network of house churches, helping to encourage the pastors. Eventually, the team hopes to start a neighborhood house church.
Building the Team
The team is seeking those with pastoral gifts, who can shepherd our team spiritually and potentially lead a house church. Additionally, those with medical specialties, experience working with college students, and church planters are much needed.
How you can Pray
