The East/Central Africa Regional Resource Team exists to provide resources and care for the Serge teams in East & Central Africa.

This includes both responsive/crisis care as well as preventative care & resources. The hope is to support workers and teams to be sustainable and healthy on the field.

This team has been strategically based in Nairobi, as it serves as a hub for the region. Many Serge workers in the region come in and out of Nairobi, and the location provides access to resources and medical care when needed. Nairobi is a large, diverse city that offers a lot of opportunities for local ministry, with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

    This team is looking for: Mental Health Counselors

    • People who are skilled in defusing difficult and complex situations, sometimes in the aftermath of a crisis. 
    • People who have a desire to primarily focus on helping other company workers stay healthy on the field.
    • People who desire to practice following Jesus and being formed more into His image in community.
    • People who have an adventurous, risk-taking spirit and are willing to travel to developing areas on short notice.
