MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY
Youth Worker – Cluj, Romania
Romania – ClujSerge’s team in Cluj, Romania has an urgent need for a Youth Worker. If you are interested, please fill out a Go Form. If you know someone who is interested, please send them our way (go@serge.org)!
Responsibilities:
1. Bible Program:
- Partner with Rise 2 Shine Ministries, which works with Roma communities on the outskirts of Cluj
- Co-lead weekly bible programs for children ages 5-18
- Opportunities for discipleship with teenagers
- Attend programs and sharing responsibilities of leading, teaching a bible lesson, leading crafts or games, distributing snacks, interacting with attendees
- Help to maintain and clean the building where programs take place
- Help in receiving, sorting, packaging, and distributing clothing donations
2. Workshops/teaching:
- Lead workshops that teach a skill related to art, music, sports, language, etc.
Requirements and Critical Qualities:
- Personal experience of the Gospel and a desire to share it with others
- Experience working with children and youth
- Driver’s license and ability to drive a stick shift
- Teaching ability
- Ability to lead worship
- Enthusiasm for language learning
- Flexibility
