Wanhua District, Taipei City, is the least-reached district in Taipei City, with roughly 1% of the population identifying as Christian. Home to more than 300 temples, Wanhua has historically been one of the most spiritually resistant areas in Northern Taiwan. Wanhua is highly traditional, and most churches are small and aging, creating an urgent need for new churches that are both gospel-centered and thoughtfully contextualized to Taiwanese culture.
What We Do in Taiwan – Taipei
As of June 2026, we have launched a new church in Wanhua District. The Taipei Team focuses on this church plant. We seek to make disciples and reach our community through our cafe outreach, English classes, Summer and Winter Camps, and hospitality.
Coming Alongside
The Taipei Team comes alongside local pastors, church planters, ministry leaders, and their families to encourage and strengthen them in the gospel. Through peer coaching, mentoring relationships, and leadership development, the team seeks to support those serving in ministry so they can continue to faithfully care for and lead others.

The Taipei team is seeking partners with experience in specialty coffee, English teaching and tutoring, evangelism and discipleship, and basketball outreach. Whether serving through a coffee ministry, teaching language skills, building gospel-centered relationships, or connecting with the community through sports, these roles provide meaningful opportunities to share Christ’s love and support the growth of the local church.
