알렉산더 전 박사(Ph.D.)는 Serge의 다문화 교욱 개발팀장이며 Fuller 신학대학원의 한인 사역 및 교회 리더십 연구 분야 교수로 재직 중이다. 그는 University of Southern California에서 10년간 교수 및 행정직으로 근무한 후 Azusa Pacific University(APU)로 이동하여 박사 과정 프로그램을 설립했다. 그는 2024년 APU에서 17년간의 교수직을 마치고 퇴임했다. 그와 그의 아내 지니는 1991년 여름 러시아 모스크바(당시 소련)에서 단기 선교 여행 중 만나게 되었다. 1993년 중국 상하이에서 영어를 가르치며 1년을 보낸 후, 알렉스와 지니는 세 자녀와 함께 2010년부터 2013년까지 캄보디아 프놈펜에서 Mission to the World (MTW)와 함께 사역했다. 그리고 캄보디아에서 크메르 기독교인들의 제자 훈련에 The Gospel-Centered Life 자료를 처음 사용하기 시작했다. 전 박사는 이전에 장로회 장로였고 미국 장로회(PCA)의 제45대 모더레이터로 섬겼으며,Korean American Leadership Initiative (KALI))의 창립 집행이사였다. 그는 University of Southern California에서 박사 학위를 받았다.

마크 데이비스 목사는 Serge Renewal Team 부팀장으로 Renewal Team을 이끌며 영적 훈련 프로그램, 콘퍼런스 및 출판을 위한 필기와 강연을 담당하고 있다. 그와 그의 아내 수잔은 버지니아 주립대학에서 만나 1992년에 결혼했다. 3년간 캠퍼스 사역후 (Intervarsity), 1997년 웨스트민스터 신학교에서 신학 석사 (M.Div) 학위를 취득했다. 그는 미국 장로교 (PCA) 안수 목사로서, 2019년 Serge로 오기전에 펜실베니아주 글렌사이드에 위치한 뉴라이프 교회에서 12년간 목회자로 섬겼다. 그는 선교사, 목사 및 사역에 종사하는 이들이 복음으로 힘을 얻어 예수님을 의지하며 영적으로 자유로운 삶을 살게 되는 모습을 보는 것에서 부터 큰 기쁨을 느낀다. 마크와 수잔 부부에게는 3명의 성인 자녀가 있다. We will explore how God desires to use the ups and downs of our daily life to draw us into a closer relationship with Him, make us more like Jesus, and extend His love to a broken and needy world.
While this event is based on themes from Serge’s The Gospel-Centered Life study guide, this teaching will go much deeper and beyond the book.

Speakers
Alexander Jun, Ph.D. is Director of Intercultural Development at Serge. Dr. Jun is also a Research Professor of Korean American Ministries and Church Leadership Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. Alex previously worked as a professor and administrator at the University of Southern California for 10 years before joining the faculty at Azusa Pacific University to launch a Ph.D. program. He left APU in 2024 after 17 years as a professor. He and his wife Jeany met on a short term mission trip in Moscow, Russia (then Soviet Union) in the summer of 1991. He spent a year in Shanghai, China teaching English in 1993, and eventually Alex and Jeany and their 3 young children served with Mission to the World (MTW) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 2010-2013. It was in Cambodia that Alex began using The Gospel-Centered Life material for discipleship with Khmer Christians. A former Presbyterian Ruling Elder, Alex served as the 45th Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and was the founding executive director of the Korean American Leadership Initiative (KALI). Alex holds a PhD from University of Southern California.
Marc Davis is an Associate Area Director for Renewal, providing leadership for the larger Renewal team while serving himself as a Sonship mentor and Discipleship Lab facilitator, and writing and speaking for Renewal events and publications. Marc and his wife Susan met at the University of Virginia and married in 1992. After three years on Intervarsity staff, he completed an M.Div. from Westminster Seminary in 1997. Marc is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and served on the pastoral staff at New Life Church in Glenside, PA for 12 years before joining Serge in 2019. He is excited to see missionaries, pastors, and others involved in ministry empowered by the gospel to live lives of great freedom in dependence on Jesus for everything.
