Matt and Anna Ross moved to Granada, Nicaragua, in September 2017. Before moving to Granada they attended the Spanish Language Institute in San José, Costa Rica for eight months and have made a five-year commitment to serve in Granada. Matt will work with men and teenagers struggling with drug and alcohol addiction (using Celebrate Recovery), disciple men and teenagers in the community, occasionally preach at El Puente (the Bridge Church), be involved with the youth group, and participate in sports ministry programs.
Anna will implement a Community Health Evangelism program at the Granada Christian Education Center (GCEC), develop further parent outreach programs for the families of the GCEC, lead the mercy ministry at El Puente, participate with their Vida Joven (Young Life) ministry, be involved in women’s Bible studies, and disciple women in the community. Both will be involved with the multiple short-term mission teams that visit and contribute to the overall work of El Puente and the GCEC every year.
