Diane grew up in Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia. A friend invited her to a bible study and she came to saving faith in Christ. Having a degree in Special Education, she went on to get a Master's Degree in Emotionally Handicapping Conditions. Later Diane attended Furman University and became certified to teach children who are emotionally handicapped and have learning differences.

In 1993 Diane went on her first short term mission trip and God began giving her a heart for cross-cultural missions. In 2000 she went to Ireland with Serge's Apprentice Program and return to Ireland in 2006 as a member of the Church Resource team.

In 2013 Diane returned to the U.S. and began working remotely for the Home Office on the Member Care Team. She cares for Serge's long term workers as they are raising support and also continues to care for some once they are deployed. Diane returns to Ireland each year to spend time with friends and strengthen relationships.

Diane is a member of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. She has two sons and 8 grandchildren. She loves books, animals, and her family.
