Nagoya, Japan
In 1995 Daniel’s family moved from Chicago to Santiago, Chile, to join
his grandparents in starting a new church plant. He grew up in that
congregation, growing little by little in his understanding of and desire
for God’s kingdom to come, until he moved to Los Angeles to attend
The Master's College in 2008. He then moved to St. Louis in 2014 to
pursue a degree in worship and music at Covenant Seminary. After graduating from Covenant, Daniel joined the Serge team in
Southall, U.K. where he served for two years in various capacities as
an apprentice. God used the time in London to confirm his desire to
serve within church leadership and to work alongside national church
leaders from non-western cultures.Daniel has now committed to serving long-term in Japan with the
Serge team that is supporting Japanese pastors as they seek to plant
churches. He considers it a great privilege that he gets to serve God’s
purposes in building up His people into full maturity in Christ in the
country of Japan. Daniel longs for the unity of the church around the
world and is thrilled that he gets to worship and live on mission with
God's people in Japan.
