Position Title: Mentor/coach for national pastors and church planters
Location: Barcelona, Spain
FT/PT: FT
Length of Service: 4 years service
Responsibilities:
– Facilitate Spanish leaders planting churches, preaching, teaching, vision casting, shepherding, counseling, training, and planning
– Engage in gospel mentoring with national church leaders as a building block for further mentoring and coaching opportunities.
– Pursue opportunities to build relationships with church and ministry leaders
– Pursue opportunities to build relationships and share the Gospel
– Participate in the faithful membership of a local church and likeminded ministries and projects
– Engage faithfully in team life – leadership, fellowship, pastoral care, planning together for the life and ministry of the team.
Requirements and Critical Qualities:
– Commitment to Jesus Christ and the global expansion of His Kingdom.
– Call to missional living and desire to engage with assigned Team in fulfilling its vision.
– Devotion to prayer, personal repentance and renewal as the motive and power for mission.
– Able to humbly serve behind the scenes, not in the limelight, not the primary leader. Doing faithful, supportive ministry without public recognition.
– An ability to work effectively with a team and practice healthy conflict resolution.
– Some level of Bible or seminary training.
– Experience on a church staff/leadership or in a church plant would be very helpful.
– A student of culture and a learner of the local language required.
