Serge’s Southeast Asia team is seeking a medical provider who can independently care for persons from birth to old age, including acute and chronic conditions, psychiatric conditions, minimal emergency conditions, and maternal health in a personnel and resource limited environment. Conducting village medical camps in this part of Southeast Asia requires some basic hiking fitness. There will also be opportunities to teach high school biology, preach in the church, serve in discipleship, evangelism, or worship ministry teams, lead youth group, and interact with the local healthcare infrastructure. Learn more about this exciting ministry from the Serge blog.

Additionally, Serge’s Kibuye, Burundi team is urgently seeking a surgeon. Deployment is desired as soon as possible with options for a flexible term of service: less than a year (special intern), short-term (12 months), or long-term (4 years). Responsibilities include providing a wide range of surgical care for patients in a mission hospital with limited resources. Previous experience overseas is preferred and a background in French language skills are helpful.
